Transit agencies to launch $8 million unified fare system

Transit agencies in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Citrus, Hernando, Polk and Manatee counties have agreed to work toward a unified fare collection system to improve regional connectivity. Through phased implementation over the next four years, the new system will provide seamless and common fare media for passengers throughout the Tampa Bay region.
